Almost every ERP on the market assumes labour is paid by the hour, because almost every ERP was designed somewhere that is true. Force a machine-hour rate onto piece-rate work and every quote you produce afterwards is fiction.

NextGenManager treats the costing mode as a property of the operation, not an afterthought. You can keep Tally for statutory filing and use NextGenManager for everything operational, or migrate fully. Opening balances load at any date, so you don't have to wait for a new financial year to go live.

Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Plenty of manufacturers want production data on a machine they can physically point at, and the system is built to run either way — same product, same updates.

It depends almost entirely on the state of your item master and BOMs. A shop with clean part numbers can be live in a few weeks. A shop where the BOMs live in one person's head takes longer — and mapping that knowledge is the real project, not the software setup.

That is the question that decides whether an ERP project succeeds, and we take it seriously. Screens for high-frequency floor tasks — goods receipt, material issue, production entry — are built to be completed in a few fields.
